Personal Banking Department Manager

We're currently seeking a Personal Banking Department Manager to work in our Waseca, Minnesota location.

Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • Responsible for ensuring the teller, personal banking, and consumer lending functions of the bank and branches run smoothly and efficiently 
  • Provide leadership, training, and supervision within the bank and Personal Banking Department
  • Perform direct supervisory duties of the teller, personal banker, and receptionist staff
  • Coordinate staff for coverage in all related areas
  • May perform all related teller and personal banker duties as needed
  • Order and monitor cash for all branches
  • Assure audit compliance and quality control procedures through branch operational review and recommends and initiates corrective actions
  • Ensure implementation and compliance to meet security precautions
  • Assist with Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering Responsibilities
  • Monitor staff in daily tasks including balancing teller differences and maintaining accurate teller balancing records
  • Knowledgeable with bank technological applications, can install, train, and troubleshoot merchant capture, cash management, mobile deposits, internet banking, and all other consumer products and services
  • Small consumer lending including HELOCs
  • Ability to read, understand and evaluate credit reports
  • Maintain compliance with all Bank policies and procedures, as well as all applicable State and Federal banking regulations 
  • Design, develop, and implement solicitation programs and products to attract new deposit customers
  • Responsible for attaining established individual, department, and Bank goals through active participation in sales management and officer call programs
  • In addition, this position would be responsible for promoting a positive image of the bank in the community through involvement and participation in community events and organizations 
Education and Experience: 
 
  • Four-year college business related degree or equivalent experience
  • Three to five years of personal banking department management experience, and consumer loan experience a plus
  • Strong personal computer skills, including a working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and ability to develop new business relationships
  • Strong attention to detail
