FDIC and NACHA scams
Recently there has been an increase in email scams that claim to be coming from the FDIC or NACHA. These fraudulent emails typically make reference to an ACH transfer, payment, or transaction and contain a link or attachment that infects the computer with malicious code when clicked on by the email recipient.
If you receive an email like this we recommend not clicking on any links or opening any attachments until you verify the legitimacy of the email. If you are unsure about any emails we will gladly help you verify it.
For more information on avoiding email phishing scams see this site from the FDIC.
