Commercial Lender V.P.
 

We are seeking a Commercial Lender to work in its Waseca, Minnesota location. Our institution is in need of a banker that is ready to help us achieve growth and market share goals. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in commercial lending. This position would be responsible for developing new commercial business, expanding existing commercial customer relationships, and working with customers to develop long-term relationships.


Responsibilites/Requirements:

  • Engage in business development activities and solicitation of new business
  • Assist in establishing and maintaining market position in the financing arena
  • Manage an existing loan portfolio consisting of commercial and commercial real estate loans
  • Retain, develop, and grow client base
  • Gather and analyze all information necessary to present a financing request to senior management or loan committee for approval
  • Meet wiht existing or potential customers, visit loan sites, negotiate loan terms and conditions; approve loans within established lending limits or refer and recommend acceptance to the Credit Analyst Officer or loan committee
  • Coordinate processing of approved loans; ensure loans are processed according to agreement, customer needs, and conform to bank lending policies
  • Represent the bank in various community, civic, and community reinvestment functions to develop additional business and further enhance the bank's image
     

Qualifications/Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a business related field, and three years of commercial lending experience
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, and proven business development skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills
  • Strong analytical skills and an eye for detail
  • Flexible schedule to meet with clients
  • Ability to understand tax returns and financial statements
  • Strong personal computer skills, including a working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel, and ability to learn new software and product offerings

Processing/Technology and Quality Control Specialist

 

We currently have an opening for a Processing/Technology and Quality Control Specialist to work in our Waseca, Minnesota location. This position is responsible for coordinating the operation of the processing center. Hours are 8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m., and required to close one day a week and one Friday per month at 6:00 p.m.
 

Responsibilites/Requirements:
 

  • Balance and submit all transaction files
  • Prepare outgoing cash letters
  • Balance accounts within the bank and for customers
  • Distribute mail and reports daily, print customer checks, and complete routine clerical duties
  • Prepare Check 21 files
  • Verify all system maintenance
  • Administer the Bank’s wire transfer systems and related products and services
  • Oversee the Bank’s participation in the Federal Reserve Communications System, which enables the creation and transmission of payment messages, account balance monitoring, and other related fiduciary and funds transfer functions
  • Work closely with management and regulatory authorities regarding funds transfer policy, compliance, physical and logistical security, contingency plans, and overall systems administration
  • Investigate disputes, suspicious or fraudulent issues in accordance with state and federal regulations
  • Conduct Fedline terminal operations, prepares and issues wires, originates the daily positon report
  • Process accounts payable and receivable transactions, balances the Federal Reserve account, perform correspondent account reconciliation, and perform other duties associated with general ledger accounts
  • Excellent customer services skills and strong attention to detail
  • Strong personal computer and technology skills
  • Effectively cross-sell bank products and services
  • Work with Network Administrator to ensure that the Bank’s IT activities are secure and stable
     

Education & Experience:

High school diploma or GED, or two years of related experience and/or training in systems management, business, or the financial services industry.
